Items to pack:

• If you are planning to go in water it is better to wear full sleeved clothes and a couple of layers especially in a place like Dubai where such is very strong. Wear non slipper rubber sole shoes so you don’t slip and wear a jacket to protect yourself from sprays of water. Bring along gloves, you will need to hold the fish and gut it later on. You may also carry a raincoat in case there is bad weather.
• Apply sunblock and lip balm at all times. Apply it before going out into the water to protect your skin from the harsh rays of the sun. A hat and a pair of sunglasses would also help give you shade and protect your eyes from glares.
• You never know when one of the people on board will fall sick so it is always good to carry your own medicines. Bring along a first aid kit with antiseptic, cotton and bandages in case somebody gets a bad cut. Wet wipes and hand sanitizers might also prove useful.
• You can bring a small bag with other essentials like a towel, camera or food.
